Registered Physiotherapist & Pelvic Health Physiotherapist (PT, HBSc, MScPT)

Registered Physiotherapist | Pelvic health physiotherapist | Triathlete | cyclist | Bookworm

I have always been active, and always willing to try new sports. Most recently, I discovered the sport that I (jokingly) refer to as my “one true love”: cycling. This sport has allowed me to be the best version of myself, not only from a fitness perspective, but has helped me grow both socially and mentally. Even more recently, I completed my first triathlon. The preparation required for this event has emphasized the importance of a well-balanced approach to training and injury prevention.

In my clinical practice, I utilize a collaborative and evidence-based approach to ensure that unique performance and/or rehabilitation goals are addressed. I focus on the root cause of an injury or movement dysfunction, utilizing various treatment techniques including education, individualized exercise prescription and hands-on manual therapy. With advanced training in both orthopedic and pelvic health physiotherapy, I provide care for a wide range of concerns such as musculoskeletal pain/injury, bladder/bowel dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum, sexual dysfunction, and low back and pelvic girdle pain.

Outside the clinic, I live a highly active lifestyle, which is currently centred around training for my first half Ironman. On warmer weekends, I love spending time outdoors and cycling out of the city to explore new places, and I’m always on the lookout for the best coffee and pastries. I am also an avid reader and always welcome book recommendations, particularly in the realm of fantasy!
