Running is a skill.

Learn strategies tailored to your goals to help you build that skill and run stronger!

Running Gait Assessment

Build confidence in your running.

Like any other skill, practicing, refining and coaching are key to being your best. We’re here to help you identify opportunities to become stronger, faster and more resilient using simple, personalized cues and drills, as well as complimentary strength and mobility strategies.

Expect a full assessment of your movement strategies, strength, mobility, how your history of injury and goals as a runner play into your experience and videos of you running.

You’ll then work through all relevant findings with our team and collaborate to create a customized plan to address them.

Video feedback, easy to implement cues and strategies to progress mean you’ll be ready to fly with confidence!

Find your fast.

Running is all about finding efficiency. You want to create the most amount of force driving into the ground and propelling you forward while using the least amount of energy to do so. We’re here to ensure that no energy is wasted as you learn to drive forward with minimal energy loss.

Injury free for the long haul.

A recent study showed that those who underwent just a few sessions of running gait training were 62% less likely to develop an injury over the following year than their counterparts.

So whether you’re coming off injury or simply looking to stay healthy on the run for years to come, addressing your technique has huge benefit.

*These sessions are offered by our Chiropractic and Physiotherapy teams and are covered under most extended health insurance plans. To book in, begin with an assessment with the clinician of your choice.

Dos & Don’ts For Your Running Gait Analysis

  • Wear comfortable running clothing and shoes. Ideally you’ll have contrasting colours on top and bottom. Black on black is tough to see!

  • Expect to run on a treadmill for 5-10 minutes total.

  • Don’t overthink. We want to see how you run when you’re not trying to make it “pretty”.
